Nohno's Trends is inspired by the seamstress behind it all as she is known as "Nohno" by many -- her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and church youth members. Nohno is a Pohnpeian term used with respect, which can mean "mother and/or grandmother" like how "Mama" can be used to refer to both mothers and grandmothers. Pohnpei, FSM is where Nohno was born and raised with her siblings and parents, who are originally from the Mortlock Islands in Chuuk.

We celebrate the vibrant and enriching Micronesian communities in the West Pacific and around the world.
